The only “painting” by me when I was in 4th or 5th standard. Made with water colors and some brush on a Biology sheet. Nothing Special. I wish someone had allowed me to learn drawing. But they used to say – this is all useless, have to concentrate on my studies and become an engineer. I am an engineer today; now what ?
The only painting ever done by me ..

draw engineering drawings … that is also quite intuitive and exciting to do 🙂
I always hated them. It seems Engineering drawing was the thing which killed my aptitude for drawing 😛
Lovely! Has an air of serenity round it
Thank you 🙂
what a perspective! You did have the talent to draw…perhaps you still do that is why you posted this…
Nope. this was the only one I did years back. I doubt if my fingers still have any flexibility left
That’s good. Really.
Now what? take it up as a hobby. It’s never too late for that. 🙂
Maybe to compensate, I took up photography when I grew up 🙂
Hmm…that’s not a bad idea. 🙂
That’s really good. You should have it frame 🙂
Thats too much. It has some assignment on the back of the sheet 🙂
now start painting again. the roads that we have not taken often contain the energy we need to manifest our true potential. find your dreams, purnendu.
I tried but my fingers have lost the flexibility it seems. So the next best idea was to switch to photography 🙂
It looks so good, Puru! Why don’t you paint some more?
Now I click them 🙂
It seems tujhe bachpan se Gujarati pasand the…:P
😀
very nice, you should make some more of them!
Thanks Sohini

Engineering kills the creativity in you. Thats what happened to me 😛

Thanks Alka 🙂
This is superb-from a ten yr old…you should take it up now.

Beautiful painting. Now you can go back to painting again and develop it as your professional hobby. Really good to carry on.

Never too late.. Now there’s no one to stop you.. 😀
Pretty good for a 4th / 5th grader.
Thanks Nasreen 🙂
What a painting for a 4th/5th grader! Now that you are an engineer, you are almost finished. 😛
Well, i.e. if you don’t pursue your hobby. 😀
Photography is still mechanical, be human by taking up painting. 🙂
I tried actually, but the fingers have lost their flexibility. Lets see, now am a bit inspired 🙂
That’s a beautiful painting, Puru…Start painting again, it’s never too late !!:)
Thanks Panchali. Will surely try 🙂
Thanks Rajnish ! 🙂
Wow, man…you are an excellent painter. That’s a gift, never let it go.
Thanks Sourabh. As I said Engineering took my creativity from me and B School returned some of it. So I became a photographer 🙂
